This beautiful decorated Restaurant De Kas and nursery is located in a set of greenhouses which date back to 1926 and used to belong to the Amsterdam Municipal Nursery.
The founder and owner of De Kas, Gert Jan Hageman, is in charge of the nursery. He can be found there every day, working the soil, planting, weeding and harvesting the finest herbs and vegetables for the Restaurant’s kitchen. The Interior Design is created by famous Designer Piet Boon.
